Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Rose McGowan about her Larry Elder secret that she’s been holding for years, how growing up in the Children of God cult made her less afraid of taking on Harvey Weinstein and the corrupt Hollywood system, and her allegation that Gavin Newsom’s wife Jennifer Siebel Newsom tried to arrange a meeting between her and Harvey Weinstein’s lawyer David Boies before the Weinstein scandal exploded. In this clip Rose discusses how extensive the corrupt Hollywood system is despite it often promoting a message of women’s empowerment. She explains how Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is an enabler of this system while at the same time supporting organizations like Time’s Up which was created in response to the Me Too movement. She also explains how her experience of growing up in a cult helped train her to see the tactics used by powerful individuals and organizations to keep people silent. It is also what she credits with giving her the unique perspective that enables her to stand up to the corrupt Hollywood machine.
